Valentines Day Update

I really should be sleeping as it is after 3AM but I wanted to blog a bit first! Valentines Day was pretty decent actually. I wasn't expecting to have a good day, but in fact I had one of the best days I've had in 5 years! (To be explained) We had our annual Valentines Day breakfast, although it was more brunch this year. We all gathered at Ashley's parents house (because tradition says it HAS to be at the Mill's home! ) and ate breakfast and watched a video I made for Valentines Breakfast 2004 which included over 400 pictures of us in High School. After breakfast I went home and played Rock Band with Nate (my new favorite game!) and watched Gilmore Girls until I had to go to work! I specifically chose to work on Valentines Day night because I didn't want to sit home alone. It was extremely busy and stressful because a projector broke, but I'm glad I worked. It gave me some purpose for today and I'm grateful for that.

Today was one of the best days ever because well, the person I miss more than anything is finally talking to me WILLINGLY for the first time in almost 5 years. (I guess two of those don't count cause of a mission, and I was receiving letters, but you get my point). He's being my friend again and coming to hang out with us and actually calling me which is AMAZING! It's so great to have him back in my life. His fiance is amazing too. She's such a sweet nice girl and I'm glad to have the opportunity to get to know her. Just being able to be friends with them is great!

As for other news in my life, I'm doing really well. I got a new job at ACS which is a call center for Verizon Wireless. It's not great, but I'm only planning on working there for a month to save tuition money because I'm going to be starting Pharmacy Tech school in March. It's an idea I've played with for over 4 years, and I just figured out that they got the program at the DATC which is in Kaysville and it only takes 6 months to complete. I'm extremely excited for it to begin! I'll be able to go to school in the mornings, and then work at the theater at nights. I'm going to need to work a shift or two more a week than I am now, but that shouldn't be to bad!

Per my aunt's request, here is a picture of TINK. You can't really see it from this angle, but she's huge and crazy. She is the most curious cat I've ever seen, and she's got OCD. She HAS to be clean. If you touch her, she'll clean where you touched her. If she thinks you are dirty, she'll attempt to clean you. But I love her! She makes life interesting!
And last but not least, for fun I thought I'd post some pictures of previous Valentines Breakfasts. (Keep in mind, when we were in High School, these picture were probably taken somewhere around 6AM so don't judge too harshly, we had not slept at all! We used to drag the boys out of bed around 5am for breakfast, but now that most everyone is married, it doesn't work as well!) I hope everyone had a good Valentines Day!!!
